What can you say about a man with over 2500 recordings of his amazing talent over a career of 50 years of music? Vassar was our very first client way back in 1995. Creating and maintaining his website remains an absolute honor and the highlight of our career. Sadly, Vassar passed away in 2005 at the age of 77, and we had to transition from an active musician's website to one that honors his great legacy both as an artist and as a kind and caring man.

Pre-MBI Website Status:
Vassar had no Internet presence. But his wife Millie knew the Internet would be big. Back then they just left it to us to handle all the related needs.

First we compiled all the information we could find on Vassar's legendary career and the hundreds of artists he played with. We scanned and archived hundreds of personal photos Millie so graciously provided. We delivered a basic catalog system that is still in use by Vassar's daughter, Midge. She prefers phone orders since she enjoys speaking with the fans directly. We have implemented a fan guestbook system with an archive that dates back to 1995. Vassar's family enjoys reading the posts and it is a great way for his fans to express themselves about this musical icon. We have provided complete maintenance, tourdate updates, and hosting since 1995.
